During his final year at the University of Rochester, Vikram, was hired as Audio Visual Engineer for the theater department. In this role, he supervised lighting & sound for 3 professional theater productions! He played a leading role in the management of audio/lighting equipment, supervision of tech crews, building sound plots, and training several A1s and stage management to operate equipment. He even tried his hand at acting!

At The Latest (ATL) formed in 2018 in a practice room at University of Rochester and has been Vikram's passion project for audio production. Currently consisting of three members: Vikram Gupta (Guitar/Vox), Shawn Cummings (Drums/Vox/Trumpet), and Robert Dromsky-Reed (Bass/Sax/Keyboard), the group is constantly working on new original music. All of ATL's current releases are recorded, mixed, and mastered by Vikram and are available for streaming on most platforms!
Vikram Led a (COVID-19 Safe) Recording Session of Yvonne Rogers' Jazz Quartet at the University of Rochester Gavett Studio for the Audio Engineering Society's Open Sessions. Due to unforeseen complications, Vikram's Co-Chief Engineer was unable to make the session, however the event went smoothly thanks to their preparation. Watch as Vikram live mixes the talented group's 1 hour set by himself!
