DMS Final Capstone (Forum for Music Production)
Feedback is a network for producers, local musicians and artists to collaborate on works in progress. Through our capstone project, we hope to create a service and platform that allows users to upload their unfinished work and comment on their colleagues' work.
WXXI Public Broadcasting Mentorship
During a broadcasting mentorship for which Vikram got to work with members of WXXI Public Broadcasting audio team. He got to work remotely on mixing and mastering various sources of audio. Additionally he helped set up for a live orchestral broadcast!
Modeling a Recording Studio
For one of his AME courses Vikram had the opportunity to work with a 'theoretical' client and model a recording studio. His group priced equipment, organized a patchbay for an efficient signal flow, and set up block diagrams for a multi-room home studio interconnected with a live recording venue barn via the DANTE network. DMS
Aside from music and audio related projects, Vikram also studied front-end web design. Here is an example of a website worked on in HTML and CSS. The goal of this is to have created a page that demonstrates good layout design with respect to contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity. Other projects can be found below!
